I'm 27, Bruneian, fresh out of a PhD at Cambridge, and now working in public health.
I recently completed my PhD at Cambridge, where I did some research on radiomics and medical imaging in oncology. Now I'm a Public Health Officer at the Ministry of Health, Brunei Darussalam! ๐ง๐ณ
My training spans Biomedical Engineering (UCL) and Radiation Biology (Oxford), a mix that's made me pretty comfortable working across disciplines.
I'm particularly interested in how data and AI can strengthen public health systems and decision-making. Outside of work, I make films, animations, and books โ science communication has always felt like the other half of the job.
Three animated episodes I created for the Turing-Roche Partnership, each breaking down a key concept in health data science. My first attempt at animation!
Public health, data, science communication โ or just a conversation.
